Yes, on any paid plan. Scanned and image-only pages are read by vision AI, which is what lets it handle photographed textbooks and older papers that contain no selectable text. The free plan is limited to text-based PDFs; scanned document support starts on Community at £2 a month.

Yes. Equations are transcribed to LaTeX and rendered as proper mathematical notation rather than flattened into plain text, which is the part most general-purpose tools get wrong on STEM material. Matrices, cases, aligned derivations and numbered equations all render.

Yes. Notes can be generated in 13 languages from the Community plan upward, including languages in non-Latin scripts. The free plan generates notes in English only.

No. Your uploads are isolated per user, are never shared with other users, and are never used to train AI models. You can delete a document, or your whole account and everything in it, at any time.
